Chinese silk art work. It depicts the eight legendary, divine steeds of King Mu of the Western Zhou dynasty (c. 1046–771 BCE), who traveled vast distances to visit the Queen Mother of the West at Mount Kunlun.

Purchase by Emily for $200 from Arkwrights second hand dealer in South Dunedin. She never had space to hang it, and it was gifted to Alec and Ryan at the conclusion of her stay with us form late 2023 - 2024
